Madison Wyckoff collected four hits in four at bats, as Zeeland West Varsity Dux defeated Beal City Varsity Aggies 9-4 on Monday. Wyckoff singled in the second inning, doubled in the fifth inning, singled in the first inning, and singled in the fourth inning.

Wyckoff struck out 11 batters on the day. The righty also gave up nine hits and four runs over seven innings while walking one.

A single by Megan Strabbing put Zeeland West Varsity Dux on the board in the bottom of the first.

Beal City Varsity Aggies took the lead, 3-2, in the top of the fourth thanks to singles by Emily Taylor, and Emma Block.

Zeeland West Varsity Dux captured the lead, 5-3, in the bottom of the fourth when Maddi Veersma tripled, scoring two runs, and Emily Kragt doubled, scoring one run.

Macy Johnston took the loss for Beal City Varsity Aggies. The starting pitcher went four innings, giving up five runs (two earned) on nine hits, striking out three and walking none.

Zeeland West Varsity Dux tallied 14 hits in the game. Strabbing and Veersma each drove in two runs for Zeeland West Varsity Dux. Zeeland West Varsity Dux didn't commit a single error in the field. Bri Kamer had the most chances in the field with 11.
